KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Education Project), run by the Director, DB Gurung and his loyal team, has two well-organised rooms for boots and clothing, and offer a very warm welcome to visitors interested in supporting the region and its people.
They offer a wealth of information and advice to trekkers and visitors and run a number of other projects promoting responsible tourism in Nepal.
They will take all donations no matter how big or small, and this is the perfect place to leave gear if you brought it with you from the UK, or you need to make space in your bags for all the wonderful mementos of your trip picked up in Kathmandu.
