Our thoughts are with the people of Nepal suffering following the huge earthquake on Friday. We have had many enquiries and we are so thankful to say our Trustees (Denise and Tom) and colleagues (Medex and Everest Black tie Dinner party) who are in Nepal are safe, but such relief is linked with deep sadness for everyone who has suffered a loss as a result of the quake.
We fear that the Health Posts in Gorkha that was at the epicentre of the earthquake will have suffered casualties, information is limited at the moment.
PPUK will focus our attentions on supporting those who survived and those who have lost loved ones. Funds donated to PPUK will be directed towards support efforts in coordination with our sister organisations in Nepal.
